Art licensing grew by +3.5% compared to 2022, as highlighted by the latest Global Licensing Survey, the research conducted by Licensing International that annually highlights industry trends on a global level.

This trend is also evident at Brand Licensing Europe in London. Among the key players at the largest European licensing fair, taking place in the UK capital from September 24 to 26, museums are a major highlight this year.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art: New York’s The Met, one of the largest museums in the world, isn’t content with its 190,000 square meters of exhibition space and wants to enter consumers’ homes with a significant licensing strategy. Noteworthy among the museum’s active partnerships is its collaboration with the Caspari brand, which already boasts collaborations with the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Royal Horticultural Society, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, among others.
